wagumi Oxo Tower returns in June.

wagumi Oxo Tower returns in June.
After nearly three months of an online only presence, we reopened the shop on 16 June.

In doing this, of course we have been studying closely the government guidelines on becoming a Covid-secure space, and will be in full effect with hand sanitiser, masks and social distancing.

We plan to test the water in the first week of opening, and may have reduced hours of business. If you plan to make a specific trip to see us, then it may be worth calling ahead, and in any case we will update our social media channels.

Our priority is to deliver the things from Japan that you have been missing, and to do so in a way that is responsible and safe. We will limit the number of people able to enter the shop, and avoid situations where social distancing is compromised.

Regular visitors will know that we suffered water damage earlier this year, in a problem that affected the Oxo Tower. Sad to say, this situation is not wholly over, and so the shop still does not look its best. But we will get it open to the best level we can, and will be there to welcome you.

We have new ceramics from Motoharu Ozawa, Rui Fukuda, Takahito Okada and more, as well as restocks in WBSJ wellington boots, and daruma by Daimonya.  These are all things worth seeing.

We look forward to welcoming you.
